Staying healthy is important but nothing is more important than life itself

Hi everyone,

I am trying very hard not to lose my interest in writing...so here comes another one...not so very far from the previous entry…pretty good huhhh...

So what do I want to share today?

I like reading. It is an ingrained habit from very young age. Can’t basically leave the house without bringing a book with me...even though I know I may never get the chance to read it. What I am saying here is...books have become a very regular companion wherever I go and I don’t leave a bookstore without buying one.

Well...borrowing your books and magazine from library is cheaper. Does not cost much except some times and few bucks...but I would rather buy my books for personal reason.

One of the many books I have is Think and Grow rich by Napoleon’s Hill. You may think that having this book for so long…I would be filthy rich like him by now…but unfortunately...I am no near there...it is because...reading is one thing...practicing is another matter and to start the ball rolling is all together another level.

When we read, everything we read will be just it…a potential power. People say knowledge is power but to the informed, knowledge is only potential power until and when we decide to practice the knowledge and apply actions or act on them. Until then, no matter how much we read, if not applied, the knowledge would be forgotten...

So what is the best way of applying knowledge…??

One way is to become a teacher to other people...share the knowledge and make a role reversal…instead of being a student all the time...be a teacher and spread the words of wisdom...the knowledge and whatever...embraced in the joy of sharing..

So here today, I want to share this:

Symptoms that show fear of ill health…

1. Autosuggestion

· This is a negative use of autosuggestion
· Looking for and expecting to find symptoms of being ill…
· Enjoying imaginary illness and telling everyone as if it is real
· Talking to others about all sort of illnesses

2. Hypochondria ( imaginary disease)

· A person who is hypochondriac…tells everyone, he or she has the illness and concentrating the mind on the illness until it become so real to them even though all tests performed on that person proved that he/she is otherwise healthy
· Nothing that comes in a bottle can cure this condition
· This is due to profound negative thinking that only positive thinking can affect cure.

3. Indolence

· Fear of being ill or infected resulting in someone avoiding a lot of things i.e. exercise etc…therefore may results in sedentary life, lack of exercise and become overweight

4. Susceptibility

· Negative emotions and negative thinking reduce the body’s resistance and creates a favorable condition for disease, therefore a negative person is susceptible to disease and fall ill easily and frequently.

So why this fear of ill health is no good…go figure it out, but one thing for sure...these people become so obsess with some negative preconception and habit like avoiding good food, avoiding exercise, become obsess with visiting doctors, worry about the hospital bills and spend so much time thinking and talking and preparing about the illness, talking about death, buying unnecessary medical insurance, saving money for cemetery lots and burial expenses they almost forgot that life is to be lived and enjoyed. Staying healthy is important but nothing is more important than life itself.

So...Why don’t we start by being positive about life? Instead of thinking about illness and preparing to become ill, why don’t we start our daily life by being positive? Early morning, when we open our eyes, feel grateful to almighty God who has given us another good day…filled with joy, happiness, laughter and good health. Tell the mind we are going to have a great day …and great day will it be!!!

until my next posting, remember that a man whose mind is filled with fear not only destroys his own chances of happy life but also those of the people who come into contact with him....live with passion and take care....

ARE WE BEING PRUDENT OR IS IT PROCRASTINATION....

Hello everyone,

Today is Friday, April 30th….the last day to submit our tax returns...hmmm…I could almost vividly picture the packed LHD offices throughout Malaysia…knowing Malaysian “last minute attitude”...which is an accepted habit of us…preferring to do almost everything at the 11th hour…wait a minute…there is a name to this habit…oh yesss…it is called procrastination…

Procrastination is an old habit and dies hard one...too...
Until now I am still struggling to overcome this habit, to throw it out the window and door of my life, locked them out and throw away the key so that MR PROCRASTINATION would never be able to ever come by to visit me again…but like all Malaysian, I have yet to win this battle with MR P….

Every time I think about the time wasted thinking back wishfully…I feel as if someone has dumped a huge bucket of water over my head and my fire is extinguished…ever hoping that this is only temporary occurrence and my internal flame would be rekindled on time to proceed my journey through life.
Often we hear people telling us…”take it slowly and relax”...well may be they are right after all…very often we have to slow down during which we take the opportunity to reflect and ponder and to plan our next course of action..

In fact today, I feel rather cloudy, rather depressing time? What could be the cause I wondered? I have done my tax assessment and as far as I am concern…I have resolved to keep everything under controlled and as calm as possible...that is emotionally speaking …I would rather be conducting my personal life with flair and confidence, taking time to get some perspective on things in order to be in the right state of mind to make any important decision..

Talking about making important decision, have you all ever noticed that often the thing you want most is the very thing you have trouble getting!!!Often people around us get very antagonistic and refuse to submit to our rules or desires. They rather say black when we say white and vice versa. Sometimes these get on our nerves and give rise to a passing sense of frustration, but that is how it goes…opposites often attract!!!Or do they??But we need to learn to be patient, not to expect too much of others and act with prudence. We have to take one thing at a time, remove one obstacle after the other in order for us to progress in life. Just make sure that we are always ready to open up to others and to always remember that life is good. Let us progress through life with great enthusiasm, leaving the dark clouds behind…

To everyone out there…including myself, stop waiting and procrastinating…do it now, today, this very minute…remember that the very thing that stops people from reaching their goals is MR P…

Until my next posting, remember what Dr Robert Anthony says:

"Waiting is a trap. There will always be reasons to wait.
The truth is, there are only two things in life, reasons and results,
And reasons simply don't count”

Until then…live with passion and take care…..

Are we sincere enough.....????

Hi friends,
It has been ages since my last entry; sometimes I just so bogged down by other things and forget to update blog or even the status on my FB….
Nowadays I guess this is the trend most people would follow….to pour out what they think, what they feel onto the cyber world...be it on FB, blog or twitter….
A lot has been said and written about sincerity of our intention in our relationship, friendship and all our dealings with other human being...be it in the real world or in the cyber world. I don’t know about you all guys but I don’t normally do things unless I feel like doing it sincerely….I don’t add or approve request on FB unless I want to….
Anyway, it doesn’t matter if I am feeling sincere or other people think otherwise, coz at the end of the day it is God who is the ultimate judge of everyone of us, our thoughts, our thinking and everything else for that matter…it is not me..Not you, not the boss, not your spouse, parents or your best friend.
We can write until our fingers are sore, until there is no more space to write or we can talk and argue until we are blue on the face but at the end of the day it is not up to us….
Sometimes even we ourselves are not sure what we have in mind or how we feel….sometimes we feel we are at our utmost sincerity, but we still cast doubts in our mind whether we are doing it purely because of god, really sincere with no hidden agenda what so ever….
Other people also judge us, our intentions based on their perception…their perception of us of course has nothing to do with us most of the time…but has everything to do with themselves…
As for my self, I do get a lot of judgments from people, mainly unknown to me…strangers, new people who come to see us for services…people even judged me as damn too serious on the FB…I don’t know how they can pass judgments on someone they never met before…but this is precisely my point…people judged you or me.. Based on how they feel and think about us, not what we do or say etc. Most of the time they failed to look at the bigger picture, taking everything into consideration before passing any judgments….likewise here, in term of sincerity…you and I can tell people that we are sincere…at the end of the day, it is not what we tell them that matters….but actions and results speak louder than words….
Anyway…what ever is written here are my thoughts and mine alone…you don’t have to agree or disagree…sometimes compromise is the better option...But of course the best is when we go for win-win situations…or agree to disagree…
When we agree to disagree, we accept someone for who they are, for what they are. We stop being manipulative to get them to agree with our ideas. We are happy to live and work together and stop questioning their or our own sincerity in every moves or dealings….
Before I pen down….I would like to share something with you all…I got this from the many books I read daily…thus can’t really remember who said this and from which book but I believe there is truth in these words….

Watch your Thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your Habits, they become character.
Watch your Character, for it becomes your Destiny...

Until my next posting, let us try not to pass judgment if we don’t know much about that person, live with passion and take care…
